First movement ends far away from F, closes in on an F major chord (rehearsal 2), but ends in F minor. Might be in F major? The key and mode of the -main- first subject group (if such a beast can be heard and has a strong tendency toward key and mode)- probably the material at rehearsal 4 (unless that's actually already a second group, and everything up to this point -is- the first group? It would take at least one hearing of the whole movement, as with many a middle-period movement by his contemporary Max Reger, whose music this somewhat resembles, to work out what function what serves here, where things are clearer to the perservering ear than to the skimming score-reader. If then.) Major-mode movements ending with codas in, and ending in, minor are rare but not that rare (consider Medtner's Sonate-ballade Op.27 from just about the same time as this work, e.g.)

There was a composer Richard Mors (1874-1946), possibly the dedicatee, whose son Rudolf (1920-88), also a composer, has a Wikipedia article @ De. (A manuscript "Und Pippa tanzt : Symphonisches Vorspiel" in score by Richard Mors is @ Dwight Anderson library in Louisville Kentucky.)
There is also a Piano Trio No.2, Op.40.
