Extra Information Libertaria: The Virtual Opera, a contemporary machinima opera created entirely online through remote collaboration. Original cast recordings available at iTunes Libertaria Soundtrack (Special Edition). In a post-USA dystopia the teen rebel Libertaria escapes from the GenTech Factory and teams up with her addict father Simeon to lead an underground cyborg children's army against the evil reverse-aging Collective. Combining the best of traditional opera, the Broadway musical, and electronic music into a complex riveting sci-fi story launches opera into the 21 century. The tape score combines modern music, jazz, and experimental electroacoustic music. Premiered October 2013.
