Navigation etc.

According to the composer's nephew, this Flandria ouverture, was a success at his first performance in the year 1953, after which some performers, friends of Willy Ostijn, asked him to make a transcription. First he made one for clarinet and string orchestra, which he called Aphrodite, and afterwards for alto sax and string quintet.
