History

Franz Philipp Dunst (whose imprint usually was abbreviated as Fr. Ph. Dunst) published mainly domestic music in Frankfurt up to around 1848. It also published some works by Ferdinand Ries and some works of Beethoven. One local item was Rhein-Sagen und Lieder (1839-45).

They published Beethoven piano concertos in early (mid-1830s) editions (LOC, e.g. - not the first publication but still a complete edition of his 5 piano concertos, perhaps their first appearance in print together?)
