Miscellaneous information
- Works published and copyright (to publisher, not Beale) as late as 1885 if not later, however - flourishing date extents approximate. Father died in 1854. Mentioned in a list of Bankruptcies and Bankrupties Awarded in the Edinburgh Gazette of February 28 1868 (as a resident of 5, Milton Street, Wandsworth Road, Surrey, formerly of Dalston in NE London; professor of music.)
Spent some time in the United States in the mid- or late-1800s where he was the first teacher, in Albany, of Isaac Van Vleck Flagler (though sources seem to differ here, one stating that Flagler traveled to London to study with Beale. The date of the studies is not given?)
