The Darmstadt ms.? copied by Hnilička included parts for string quartets (called sinfonias for strings?) in A major, one of them the first of the 3 quartets here, the other, however, not the 3rd of the 3 quartets here (viz. RISM.) Hnilička also copied out a quartet in B by Zach listed @ RISM (described in his copy as a Quatro ó Sinfonia.)

No.2 is actually Sinfonia in F, KomZ C14, for strings. Then again, I gather, even in the early classical era (Mozart's first few string quartets were just an example) the quartet was not chamber music (for which several loose definitions have been proposed...), but rather a work written to be performed either by a small orchestra of strings or by a group of 4 as needed...
